Helping You Train Your Dog In A Language They Understand

Let’s Get Your Dog’s Mojo Back!

Dog Training in Worcestershire

Meet Your Trainer!

Hi, I’m Kris — dog trainer, dog walker, and professional dog photographer!

I spent years working with dogs behind the lens as a professional dog photographer, and now I’m bringing my passion for canine communication and connection into dog training. With The Mojo Method, my goal is to help families truly understand their dogs and bring more calm, confident connection into everyday life.

Let’s shift the narrative from correction to connection.

Sammy & Charlie —

“Kris is an amazing dog trainer — she has been helping us train our cavapoo puppy Charlie and we cannot recommend her enough! Kris is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about Charlie’s progress. We’ve seen real improvements & she always listens to us and what we would like her to focus on with him! She gives amazing advice for us to carry on the training at home. We have a clever, obedient little puppy thanks to Kris!”

FAQs

  • I use positive reinforcement and clicker training — both science-backed methods that focus on calm communication and connection. Clicker training helps dogs learn faster by marking the exact moment they get it right, building trust and clarity without punishment. My goal is to help dogs understand what their owners are asking and help owners understand what their dogs are communicating.

  • We’ll start by discussing your goals, then I’ll guide you step-by-step through practical training exercises in your home or local environment.

You’ll learn how to communicate clearly, use rewards effectively, and build calm, confident behaviour — so you can continue progress long after our sessions end.

  • From basic obedience training, lead walking to, recall, or anxiety — I work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Whether you’ve got a bouncy puppy or a nervous rescue, we’ll tailor the training to your needs.

  • Absolutely. Many of my clients start their journey with dogs who are fearful, overexcited, or reactive. I take things at your dog’s pace, focusing on calm, connection, and confidence every step of the way.
That said, behavioural cases may require the expertise of a qualified behaviourist — and if that’s ever the case, I’ll always be honest and help guide you in the right direction for your dog’s needs.

  • Most sessions take place in your home or local environment — wherever your dog feels most comfortable. This helps us work on real-life situations and make progress that lasts.

  • Sessions typically last around 60–75 minutes, depending on your dog’s energy and attention span. Puppies may benefit from slightly shorter sessions, while behavioural cases might run a little longer.

  • Every dog learns at their own pace, but I recommend a minimum of three sessions. One session alone isn’t enough to cover everything — my goal is to teach you how to teach your dog, and give you the confidence to continue progress at home. Most of my clients choose a five-session package, as that’s where you start to see real, lasting change and a stronger bond take shape.

  • Yes — I’m fully insured and certified in canine first aid, so your dog’s safety is always my top priority.

  • I’m based in Kidderminster and cover the surrounding areas including Hagley, Blakedown, Clent, Belbroughton, and Stourbridge. I also cover the Worcestershire area.

  • At the moment, I only offer one-to-one sessions — I find it’s the best way to teach and tailor training to each dog and owner. That said, I can absolutely point you toward some fantastic group classes run by trainers I know and trust!

  • Yes! I run a dog walking business called Walkies With Kris, serving Kidderminster and surrounding areas. If you are interested in my dog walking services, you can find more on Instagram and Facebook, or drop me an email at walkieswithkris@gmail.com
